53% of Brandcenter students have at least one tattoo.
Whether a flash tat or a lifelong meaning, all tattoos have a story. This was a great opportunity for me to learn about my classmates, and share what I learned for others to read about. This is “Branded: Brandcenter Tattoos” a book about advertising students’ ink.
Close to 40 people participated in the interview series, and I sketched them all and turned it into a guessing game for people to remember who’s tattoos belong to who.
The book was so well received, we made it into a “sleeved” shirt. Eli Reece, a copywriter, helped develop a custom Tattoo Americana logo for the shirt.
